This site was first conceived as a brochure for those of you who had already seen my engravings. Perhaps you have visited the Gallery at Orbost on Skye, which is my main outlet, or have seen my prints in exhibitions around Britain. If you are new to my work, a special welcome.
There is still much to do to finish the site but I hope this is a good-enough start.
It is not a full e-commerce site, though all the engravings that are for sale are priced and enquiries are always welcome.
Hopefully, any concern about the image quality of the engravings shown here compared with the originals is not too disturbing. If you have seen the engravings at first hand allowances can be made because the fine detail of the work is already appreciated. It has certainly taken me a long time to get accustomed to seeing my work on screen.
The Portfolios show the engravings in chronological order.
New images will be added from time to time and an archive started of those engravings that are now out of edition.
Also in development is a separate site for Orbost Gallery which will feature a mix of work by Marion Roberts, Jill Aldersley, Andrew McMorrine, and other invited artists.
